Meet Shane and Rachel
Our Story
Welcome, we're so glad you're here. We're Shane and Rachel and we are micro flower farmers in Palos Park, IL. We purchased our property in 2020 and had no idea just how much our land would transform our hopes from trying to bring back its beauty to becoming our small business.
Over the last six years we transformed our neglected land into our own oasis filled with perennial gardens, cut flower garden beds, backyard chickens, a greenhouse, and native plants to support our pollinators.
While navigating the grief of losing Rachel's sister, we found joy in our pain of gardening and selling our backyard bouquets. It is now a passion of ours to share our love for gardening and how reconnecting with nature saved us from the depths of grief.
We love to share our gardening tips, eco-friendly gardening ideas, and of course, sharing a piece of our gardens with you. Thank you for following along!
